Breadcrumbs dropped on music wanderings.

  1. Cublak Cublak Suweng Mellyana

Mostly the stuff on there’s Japanese, but here’s something fun from the the poster’s home country. They always post the full album as separate videos, which I prefer.

  2. 恋する渚 Katsuhiko Miki

Stumbled on another Youtube channel with interesting uploads yesterday, so’ve been going through them while I do computer stuff. Not much’s really grabbed me, but it’s at least stuff I haven’t heard before.

Like the vid says it’s very similar to Billy Joel’s song Stranger, but that was news to me too.

  4. Spacer Woman Charlie

Thought this was some kinda fake-80s song for some reason.

  5. Don't Go San Giovanni Bassista

Youtube led me to this song. Doesn’t seem to be anything else by them apart from the three-track EP this is off. It’s good though, and got a reissue in 2010.

  6. I Wanna Be Your Lover La Bionda

Listened to this mix Transistor Bass and really liked the first song on it. Reminds me a bit of Fred From Jupiter, but this kind of droll Euro singing is a thing so—

  7. Miss Broadcast Yumi Matsutoya

Uh oh, back on this channel again. Bangin’ MIDI guitar.

Had to replace the video because the channel died. Guess I didn’t download a backup, so this’s the real song not the karaoke version. No MIDI guitar, but fun choreography with the telly wall.
